Face-to-face sales
Door-to-door sales teams for telecom and internet providers
Telecom is the category door-to-door never left, because a subscription sale still works better on a doorstep than in a banner ad.
The problem
Why the channel still works here
Internet and mobile are switching markets. Almost every household already has a provider, so the sale is rarely about need — it is about giving someone a concrete reason to change, at a moment when they will actually consider it. That is a conversation, and conversations happen better in person.
It also suits territory economics. Service areas are geographic, coverage maps are real, and a rep can be pointed at exactly the streets where the product is available and the competitor is weak. Very few channels let you target that precisely.
This is the vertical we currently run in Manitoba, so the operational answer to most questions here is a description of what we already do rather than what we would set up.
Detail
How campaigns are run
Territory is assigned against your coverage map, split into workable patches, and rotated on a schedule. Reps are trained on the plans, the pricing, the install process, and the specific claims they are not permitted to make about speed or availability.
Field supervision is daily. A distributed sales team without it degrades within weeks — reps drift to the easy streets, scripts loosen, and the first anyone hears about it is a complaint or a cancellation spike.
Operations
What a telecom campaign looks like
- Territory assigned against your real coverage map, not a postcode guess
- Plan, pricing, and install-process training before field deployment
- Explicit limits on speed and availability claims
- Switching objections handled properly, including contract buyouts where you offer them
- Daily reporting by rep and territory
- Clean handoff into your provisioning process
FAQ
Questions people ask
Can you work from our coverage map?
Yes, and we insist on it. Knocking addresses you cannot actually serve wastes the rep’s day and generates a bad impression you then have to overcome later when the street does become serviceable.
Who handles the install booking?
The rep captures what is needed and hands into your provisioning process. We do not schedule technicians or make promises about install windows unless you have given us the real ones to work from.
Do you sell for more than one provider at once?
Not in the same territory. A rep representing two competing providers on the same street cannot honestly advise either homeowner, and it is the kind of arrangement that ends badly for everyone.

We will walk through the territory, the script, and whether we think the campaign works before anyone signs anything. If we do not think it will, we will say so.
