IT and call coverage for professional services firms

Your product is billable hours. Every hour a partner spends on a printer, a password, or a client call that reception could not take is inventory you cannot sell.

Context

Two pressures at once

The first is simple economics. In a firm that bills time, technology problems are unusually expensive, because the people who end up absorbing them are the people whose hours are worth the most.

The second is client-driven. Accounting, legal, and consulting firms hold other people’s confidential information, and their clients have started asking how it is protected. Vendor security questionnaires, once an enterprise formality, now arrive at firms of twenty people, and so do cyber insurance questions that assume controls many firms have never documented.

Both are addressable without hiring anyone: a helpdesk your staff can call, controls that are actually enforced, and reporting that answers the questionnaire truthfully.

FAQ

Questions people ask

Our clients send security questionnaires. Can you help us answer them?

Yes, and it is a common reason firms call us. We work through the questionnaire against your real environment, confirm which answers are already true, and rank the gaps by risk removed per dollar. Answering optimistically is a real exposure, both with clients and at claim time.

We have one internal IT person. Do we have to replace them?

No. Co-managed is our most common arrangement for firms this size. Your person keeps the relationships and the knowledge, and we cover the queue volume, the nights and holidays, and the specialist escalation that one generalist cannot reasonably hold alone.

Is our data staying in Canada?

On the Canada delivery tier, which is what firms holding client confidential information normally buy, our agents and call data are in Canada. Where your own systems live depends on the platforms you use, and mapping that is part of onboarding — several firms have found during that exercise that something they assumed was Canadian is not.

A 20-minute call. We ask what breaks, what it costs you, and who handles it now. If we are not the right fit we will say so.
